A Passionate piece about the cry for freedom and the yearning for law and order in South Africa, my beloved country. Dystopia Law is a vibrant depiction of Lady Justice on her knees in prayer for help from above.
Miniature details are found on close-up view, seeing in the trigger that vengeance only leads to the grave; in the barrel you'll see a train heading for a pool of despair; The victims ask for justice and continue to blame the law, their hearts bleed helplessly as crime goes unpunished, as women are raped and children are aborted; The City Hall rests on a bridge of broken reeds as the drowning cling to what is left of the seventh pillar; the scales of justice lie broken at the foot of Lady Justice whose eyes are not blindfolded any more, because she sees, but is held down by briberies and traditions that cling to her like vines; Commerce is barely holding together its once thriving cities, and industry show signs of crumbling, and agriculture bares barren fields, all leading to poverty as the prayer room stays lit by a fading candle and a sprig of hope breaks through the hardened ground to show that God promises in His Word: "If my people humble themselves and pray ... I WILL heal their land"
