One night while on show at the Annual Innibos Expo (Nelspruit - South Africa) in 2017, after we had gone 3 days without a sale, BeaP had a dream of a master's hand holding a paint brush, moving downward while creating fine textures, then continuing diagonally across meadowy undergrowth, painting trees with their shadows stretching over the vast lush grove, and upon awaking and sharing this excitedly with Jim, he dashed out for some canvas. That morning, she set out to paint “The Clearing” which sold off the easel - twice - as a second couple ordered one immediately after the first, and again. BeaP stood painting for 7 days straight, over ten hours a day, filling 4 huge canvases with this mighty forest before the end of that show. This was the beginning of a whole series of forest paintings (The Clearing; Bluebell Woods…) in a range of colours shapes and sizes. Our help comes from the Lord, the maker of the heavens and the earth.
